I've been living full time as female for 6 years, but have only been on hrt for 11 months. I passed as female before hormones, but didn't have boobs or that much of a feminine body shape. In yalls opinion would you say the guys I hooked up with before hrt were gay,bi,or straight?
I'm not sure how to answer this but i would say no as you're a women how ever that's my answer, but if it were in tech sense of the way outsiders my perceive it then the answer could go either direction. in my option it could be answered either way by different people and it also depends on the person you date/are in relationship with i.e whether they see them selves as heterosexual, bisexual or bi-curious
hope my perspective on this helped.

they all told me they were straight but you know how guys lie lol.
a lot of models have no boobs or body shape , It all goes into their face.
What sparked the question was my current boyfriend telling me that if I didn't have boobs he wouldn't have been ok with me being trans. He also stated that all the guys who would are gay because it would be to close to having sex with a boy.

that's one opinion against however many, other peoples views maybe different and they may see things in a different prospective in theory that's like saying a guys not a guy because he doesn't have a six pack or that he dosen't have a beard. everyone's different and so are there views and opinions.

I kind of doubt that any guy who slept with Keira Knightly would think they slept with a guy.

but she dosnt have a penis.
well, I guessing you won't either unless you don't want to go that route in which case it's to be expected.
I would say they are (at least) bicurious. Before I started HRT, I was also very feminine, but lacking boobs. The fact men I slept with (back then) also claimed to be straight, but their actions demonstrated otherwise.
They might have been tush, your personality or a pretty face. Not all men are attracted to breast and it has nothing to do with their sexual attraction.

At the end of the day does that really matter. Also I'd throw my bf down a set of stairs . If he ever called our sexual experience, gay . We're both for the most part shaped like a woman, look like a woman and carry ourselves like one. Maybe it's not normal or whatever .But I think it's sort of disappointing he sees it that way or why one part changes the entire experience .
In my opinion your boyfriend is insensitive to how his words effect you.
If someone says they are straight then take their word. Just as you take your boyfriends word he is straight.

Amen. But it sounds like he's more uncomfortable or ignorant to his own sexual preferences if anything .Especially if breast are that big of an issue and he waited till now mention it.
pre hrt guys would not have answered ads for masculine bottom; therefore they are bi or straight, basically opportunists.
If your boyfriend thinks the only thing female about you is your boobs you've got the wrong boyfriend. I remember you before HRT. You were always beautiful and feminine.
I have 32B boobs..not tiny but not huge. If my womanhood was measured by my cup size all the guys I have sex with would be a little suspect. I think of you asked my boyfriend what he finds attractive and feminine about me it'd be a LOT more than just boobs.

he doesn't think that's all that's feminine and attractive about me. He just feels that if I didn't have boobs and since I have a penis he would feel like hes sleeping with a guy than a girl.
I agree that the boyfriend's comment was transphobic and insensitive (and rude!).
If you were a woman then - and they knew you were a woman - then they were dating a woman. Whether that makes them straight, gay, or bi is up to them, since their orientation isn't defined by their partner, either. ;) (That's a pet peeve of my wife's; she's bi whether she's with a man, a woman, or a non-binary person.) But the *relationship* was between a man and a woman.
Your boyfriend sounds like a guy I knew in college who pressured his cis girlfriend to get breast implants, because a flat-chested woman might as well be a boy...
Not knowing your background or where you like to socialize it would be a little difficult to answer. But in a nutshell, if you met them in a hetero environment and they were unaware of your 'situation' then I would be willing to bet they are straight and were attracted to you as nothing other than an attractive cis-female and if you like them in return, you have a little challenge. If you were in a gay or ambiguous type environment that answer would be up for grabs and then it becomes 50/50 that perhaps your gentleman admirer is trans-amorous and is liking what he sees or is attracted to you as a cis-female. And to sum it up, if he is a QUALITY individual, would it matter? and why?
