I've often thought of going out for a run while dressed. I think modern women's running clothing rocks with all those coloured leggings, pink trainers etc. I used to think it would be a bit impossible though. Going running with a wig? Surely not. Then I googled it and found lots of articles on real women's forums about exercising in wigs. The general advice seems to be use an old one or get a cheap one just for exercise.
So the idea's back on for me. I reckon a cap and a decent pair of running shades should help, but what about makeup? I'd probably put on some not too much over the top lipstick but any other thoughts in terms of makeup?
I used to help pace a running group that was mostly women. I never saw any of them wear any makeup at all. If you are really exercising and sweating then it would turn into a big mess.

Some women say they use a little bit of tinted moisturizer, but that it needs to be oil-free.
Maybe waterproof mascara and eyeliner, tinted moisturizer are about it. I have an old "Halloween-grade" wig I could use with wig tape, but a colorful scarf over the head and snug would be better unless it's really cold. There's the risk of triggering our local Islamophobes, then though.
Wig tape or double sided medical adhesive tape can be incredibly useful. I keep a small package in my purse for malfunctions while out.
I think that wearing like some yoga pants or something like that with a sports bra with breast forms would make it so much fun to go for a run dressed as a woman. I mean if you have a nice shaped butt then they would look amazing in yoga pants and if the forms stayed in place and were nice and snug in the sports bra then you would be golden.
I go surfing wearing lip stain that lasts over 24 hours, and it never comes off without makeup remover. I prefer Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick. I also use a waterproof eyebrow pencil and really that's all I need to look sufficiently girly for a day of surfing. I can run while tucked, and I always surf while tucked. As I have said before I prefer using one, two, or at most three layers of shapewear panties to keep everything in place.
I wear lipstick and mascara when I go walking or running. Hugs Shannon
Pre HRT but I've been running dressed for a few months now, out side and at the gym. Nothing overly feminine but most of my workout clothes are from the women's section. A sports bra always (don't need that physically) and now that it's cooler here in Wisconsin, leggings when running outside. Usually black ones but have a worn a purple pair. My hair is long so don't need a wig. Always wore a bandana in my hair before but tie it up in a more female style sometimes now. No makeup other than the tinted moisturizer. I'd do some eye makeup but feel I'd be wasting it as I'll be showering when done and washing it off anyway.

Now that it's cold I'm back in my running tights. But those are pretty much unisex and lots of both men and women wear them around here.
It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.

I usually do not wear any makeup while running outdoors. Wearing a hat hides my eye areas. And here in my country, most women wear a mask to protect their facial skin from the sun light and the UV, and I also follow it. When I was in the U.S., I saw few women wearing a mask, and I wore sun cream instead of a mask.
I think it would be fine to wear a wig under a hat.

I always go to the gym wearing legging and nice women T-shirt. But never wore makeup or wig.
unless you really enjoy running, maybe switch to cycling. you still get to wear the colorful sporty wear plus a bicycle helmet instead of wig tape. i know from the past wearing hats a gust of wind can take that hat right off.
