Well, its Halloween and I managed to get the courage to walk around campus as Rachel. I dressed in a short-cut jean jacket, a military brown t-shirt, and blue jeans. I was pleasantly surprised that no one said anything nasty about it, to my face at least. I had a med appointment first thing this morning and I sat for 15 minutes because the nurse thought I wasn't there, she was expecting a boy, and she thought I was a girl! :D
So far I had at least 10 people think that I look prety normal, if a bit tall for a girl. I'm glad I got the courage to go through with this, as it helps for when January comes and I start my RLT. If people think I'm weird over this, I'll just tell them to take a hike. After all, it takes a very confident person to walk around a college campus as the opposite sex. Guess I'm good at faking it.;D
Sorry, just felt very good to share, today went far better then I had hoped. In 2 months I should be ready to tackle the real deal.
Congrats Angel, that's awesome :D
I hope you had a fun night!
Congrats and after you fake confidence for a bit, the more real the confidence will become in the long run. I was pretty shaken the first few weeks but refused to let them see me sweat. LOL
i dont see it as fake, just an excuse :) everyone needs a booster now and again :)
good work Angel :) feels great when you start getting mistaken for female, eventually its all the time and you dont bother correcting them! :)
