Title: HRT in San Antonio
Post by: silliemunkie on October 07, 2016, 11:40:47 AM
After quite a bit of searching, I was finally able to find a clinic where I could get an appointment.
Nurse Practitioner Associates
210-610-2826

Everyone I have interacted with so far has been very friendly, and they were able to get me an appointment scheduled for today. The only drawback is they don't take insurance for HRT, so it's going to be an out of pocket expense of $200. It's a bit expensive, but I'm going to give it a try, and see how it goes.

I won't say anything pro or con here, but you might want to come to one of our San Antonio Gender Association meetings or PM me about them. SAGA meets 1st and 3rd Thursday at Metropolitan Community Church, 611 E Myrtle St, San Antonio, TX 78212. 6-9 PM. Very mature and low drama group. We have a lot of fun and are a wealth of information. I am also going to start transitioning soon also and am glad I met these folks first. I get a lot of inspiration from some of them.
