Hey everyone! I just wanted an opinion of whether I'll need FFS in order to pass, or if makeup, HRT and lasers will be enough. I just updated my profile pic a few minutes ago. My honest opinion is that your face with makeup and hair should be able to pass as feminine. If you are still early on HRT, that may help to push you over to to the feminine side. One thing I find amazing about this site is how many people early in their transition are asgrognous to feminine before starting HRT. We don't see it in ourself but others do.

First you may try makeup gradually. And then you may seek further. You do not need to hurry up.

If you want "deadly honest" answers, you have to provide "deadly honest" photos, instead of a single tiny profile photo from just one camera angle. As an example, look at the 4 pre-op photos that Rhonda Lynn posted in her FFS thread (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,214923.0.html).
FFS really starts to make a difference when we get older. When young, slightly masculinized facial structure can lend a foxy look. When older and we're not so foxy, it tends to make more of an impact.
That said, if the rest of your presentation is there, a good voice can dispel nearly all doubts due to face gender ambiguity.
So I guess I'm saying that it can always help if one gets the right surgeon, but if $ is the barrier, there's plenty of other stuff to focus on and carry most of us through.
As Emily said, can't really judge by your tiny profile pic. Need from different angles and in full-size.
Deadly honest -- even in this flattering picture, you have a prominent brow and a fairly large chin. If you want to receive female gendering consistently and unambiguously, it will probably take the full works.

I think your chin nose lips jaw and hairline are fine! Your eyes and brow bone have more of a heavy look but hrt can really change brow bone by shrinking muscles. I wouldn't say you need ffs on your brow and eyes because you may just be giving a tired looking expression try opening your eyes more and don't squint like your angry. I think your face is more feminine than masc if you are self conscious I would get bangs to cover the forehead and work on your facial expressions.
