So, my wife is doing bills, and turns to me and says, "$15 customer fee". Naturally I question what she's talking about. Apparently, the local power company charges you a fee, just for the honor of paying them for their services. Seriously!?!?!?!?!
What the hell? Just charge us for the service we are paying you for. I mean, they have a transport fee, a line fee, a fee for the paper bill, a fee to pay online, a service fee for reading the meter, a fee for maintenance, and then finally the cost for using their gas/electric. Now they are charging me just to be a customer.
Baaaaaaaaa
Sorry, Just the Hungarian Anarchist in me coming out
No problems. Just had to vent at the stupidity of it all.
Send them a $15 "Filling out your stupid form" bill...

Agree 100% XD
I hate ridiculous fees like this >.<
I remember I was so incensed with my communication provider when I was running my own business that I used MYOB and generated an Invoice which I sent to the company for "Waste of my time dealing with TXXXXXA incompetence" as the narrative
Funny I never got paid.... ;D
We have a solar home with passive heat and light gain plus photovoltaics. We remain on the grid and actually contribute power rather than have the battery banks and inverter system. We still get a bill for $10.63 every month for taxes and fees. The monopolistic power oligarchy continues to serve itself well, not a shock really. ;D ;D
Yeah, my electric bill was usually $25 of which $5 was taxes and fees, $10 was actual electricity used and $10 was a basic facilities charge and I was on the low use tariff! It really grinds that I had to pay 150% more than my actual bill.
