Yes, that is a wonderful depiction of what transition has felt like to me too! ;D

Maybe after I was laid off from my last job :)
I could imagine if I fully transitioned I would feel that way, but won't know if I never try.
That's a great picture, and really captures the experience, doesn't it?
I recently felt this way again when my sex life, after a fallow period lasting several years, suddenly came back to life. :) I mean, I was completely surprised by this turn of events, and completely rejuvenated, too.
I felt it most strongly last Thanksgiving. The day I came out of the closet and started living as a woman full time.
Since then that feeling has accompanied me like a fellow traveler sometimes subtly, sometimes more strongly, but always there, as I continue to experience so many new
firsts and become more comfortable in my public/social gender presentation.
It's so good to know other women are feeling the same thing. It's important for me to remember. When things get difficult. And as a counter argument that not all of us hold the view that "nobody would ever want to be trans."

Not as happy as I am! ;D
I am now officially a cougar.
I love this image so much - I think I'm still stuck on stage two, unfortunately!

You'll get there.
It took me 57 years!

Yes that's more or less where I am too. Most of my friends know about
me and part of my family too but I have to hide at work ATM. Makes for an interesting rollercoaster.
Besides that, even though I am not usually sirred and I seem to mostly pass, it's all within our heads and I don't really feel I pass or my voice is acceptable. Looks that myself is keeping me from progressing in that regard.
