Title: I just need to vent!
Post by: Blackwaters427 on November 05, 2016, 12:39:08 PM
Ugh. My gf's shenanigans are getting quite old. She needed me to take her to her job interview on Monday but I work Monday at that time. So I told her she could just walk since it's only one mile away (1.2 miles to be exact). She replied, "ugh I hate men sometimes". I said, "well it's a good thing I'm not a man then." "You are physically", she said. >:(
I really don't know what to say to her right now!

I am sorry you are dealing with this.

She was trying to hurt you. When things cool off it warrants a difficulty conversation.  It sounds like you are taken for granted and when you do not do what she wants you are exposed to deliberate triggering statements.

"A 20 minute walk will do that fat but of yours some good"

"Carry your dress shoes, don't try walking there in them"

"If you're lucky it won't be raining"

"At least one of us has a job and doesn't want to loose it"

I suspect you though of a few more  >:-)

"You don't need to do this. It's just a lifestyle you chose. "

Grrrr...

This is not someone who should stay in your life for very much longer.

I'm so sorry she said that to you...Hopefully when things cool down you can have a talk with her. What she said was not okay in the slightest
