Title: Endocrinologist in Connecticut?
Post by: bailey_jess on November 05, 2016, 07:14:00 PM
Hi everyone I hope you're all doing perfect. :)
So I've been on hrt since June '15 and when I started I was in Mexico for college so it was super easy for me to start hrt since the rules there are more simple. Anyways I had a batch of pills and injections that I bought there but I'm back in the states and I'm running out I literally have like 23 days worth of pills and only 2 monthly injections left. I've been trying to find a Dr who could treat me and have my blood work and prescribe more hormones but I haven't really had luck. I called the Endocrine Ass of Connecticut and they referred me to Dr Ilja Hulinsky in Farmington CT but I haven't had luck in reaching their office. They never answer even though I call on office hours. Can anyone tell me of a doctor near New Haven? I live in Wallingford...

Thank you so much

So to answer my own question I didn't have luck making an appointment in Connecticut.
Dr Hulinsky never answered nor did I hear from them and Aprn Ms Katheryn Tierney asks for a referral letter from a therapist which I don't have. Besides her waiting list is 5 months long.
So I searched for NY clinics instead and found the Callen Lorde clinic but their Manhttan office isn't taking new patients only the Bronx office. They referred me to Apicha Community Health Center also in Manhattan so I booked an appointment for Nov 30th and I'm sooo looking forward to it. I also found out I'd be spending way less going to NY than paying for the high fees of Endos in CT so I'm happy for that. There's also a couple good clinics in Boston from what I read but Boston is further from me. I hope this info works for other people.

I used Dr. Browne-Martin in Springfield MA, if you ever need someone closer than NYC.
