Title: Gender THerapist via Email or Etc?
Post by: JayceeTG on November 17, 2016, 08:06:03 PM
I live in Montana and I have searched high and low about finding a gender therapist and I am not having much luck. I would love to start taking hormones but I know that seeing a gender therapist is the only way to do so, can you interact with a gender therapist via email or skype or etc or does it have to be in person? I know this sounds like a really dumb question but I am just curious. Any info would be amazing and if this is a topic somewhere else I am sorry for reposting this again. Thanks

being that i live in a very populous area it wasnt hard for me to find my gender therapist. i have heard of some doctors doing it over skype, but i am unsure of who is doing it or if they are worth the 1s and 0s theyre made of.

It certainly seems like its a good option for someone like you who is living in practical wilderness

Are you sure its the only way? There's informed consent in many places.

Also, if you know a doctor who's willing to prescribe with a letter ask them if they can recommend a therapist.

it's possible to find one over Skype but they need to be licensed  for the state your in. I saw mine over Skype. I'm not sure email is practical regardless. It's hard for them to get the interaction and live responses along with other things they need. Hugs
