Most guys at that age are conditioned to have as much sex as possible with cisgender women and not many of them question it. BUT it depends on your area and how the guy acts.

Usually the "boring" guys who are sensitive, empathetic, had a decent upbringing/turned out nice anyway, and don't treat women like crap are the way to go.

"Fun" guys (usually self proclaimed alpha males) are typically mean, ill mannered, and give you that 5 seconds of rough sex you he wanted. Then the next afternoon you feel like crap when he starts his routine of never messaging you again.

Rule of thumb - if they need a Greek letter before their gender, avoid.

Have you read this?? Have always found it sensible advice, inspiring . . .

QuoteMostly I thought, 'Wow, I respect this person.' Usually when you're attracted to a girl, you don't necessarily respect her. But when I found out that she had done that and gone through it, and looks amazing, I immediately thought, 'Wow, this sounds like someone who's really (not allowed) cool and worth knowing, in addition to being really hot.'"

I shared this in one of the subscriber only areas the other day...

Shared this on my facebook today...

QuoteThis is a general statement of principles, and is not necessarily a man or woman wanted sign...

I am open to dating provided we click, share mutual interests, the person accepts me for who I am even knowing my situation and history (I am a woman, who is also transgender), they treat me right (make me feel like a queen), and they understand that I am not really looking for a physically intimate relationship at this time.

Things I won't tolerate in a partner include jealousy, abuse (physical or psychological), and infidelity; if it occurs, it will end any relationship.

You may notice that I didn't specify a gender, and that was intentional, having been on both sides of the gender spectrum, it's just not that important to me. The person and personality matters more than their sex or gender.

Whatcha think?

As with all age groups, there will some that are serious. There will also be plenty of ->-bleeped-<-s that want nothing but a good time. Neither men, nor women, can claim superiority on morals. Just as women complain about guys wanting a quickie, the guys complain about the women wanting money.

If you play your cards right, and weed out the undesirables, you have an opportunity to find the right one for you, no matter what your age.

I just ended it with a guy who was in his early 40's.  I'm dating a guy who is, let's say (to avoid outting myself as a cougar) within that age range you provided.  So I've dated both older than me and younger.  The younger one, so far, has been much more passionate from the start but less romantic.  I'm thinking that's just a generation thing, regardless of my trans status.

I guess my advice would be just have direct communication, up front.  Tell them what you have down there before sexy time happens and tell them how you feel about what you have.  If you are dysphoric about it, tell them not to touch.  if not, let them know you might be willing to reciprocate the kind of lovin' they want to give to you.  But just be clear.  Totally, utterly, and unmistakably clear.

As far as dating men vs dating women?  Depends on the woman.  My wife isn't a lesbian so our intimacy often times is reminiscent of how it was pre-transition (minus the dysphoric trigger stuff).  However, my cisgender girlfriend is a dedicated lesbian and doesn't expect me to use my bits, you know?  However, her other girlfriend is trans and she isn't dysphoric so they are both able to fully utilize each other.  In both cases, she's happy with her relationships with me and her other girlfriend.

So... I guess the answer is "everybody is different".  Sorry.  That probably doesn't help you at all.  Like, at all.  :(

In my experience it is a case to case basis each person is different from the other even if they belong to the same age bracket and ethnicity.... you'll be kissing a lot of frogs b4 u find a prince or not find a prince at all and some frogs can be lethal and poisonous. Goodluck and be safe!

The older they are, the better I notice, less worrying and more doing what they want. 28 to 45 is my favorite age range... less games too.

I agree with Miss Lux with the case by case basis. My current boyfriend is 24 and he is the biggest sweet heart imaginable or so I'd like to think  We've been together for over a year and he wants to move in and really get things going. He always takes my feelings into consideration and puts me above everything. I'm sure there are also a bunch of 24 year olds that are jerks soooo you just have to date or mingle and see who is worth spending more time with :) Best of luck!
