I am a pre op transsexual woman. I have had a bilateral orchiectomy done about 3 years ago and I noticed a difference after this.
I have masturbated many times before and have achieved orgasm before with the penis that is still there. I am not proud of it but I have managed to just have a dream before about a man that caused it to happen (no masturbation done.)
I am on a spiritual path and what I have come to find is that sexuality and sexual attraction is just something that is natural.
I've heard that apparently through masturbating, one can discover themself and how they would want to give/receive the sex when the desired partner comes into the picture.
What about if you are in my predicament though and you don't even have the desired genitalia? I guess what I am asking is, is there any benefit for a transsexual woman to have masturbated before when she was still pre op?
I am wondering if maybe the understanding of both the male and female genitalia on that level has some sort of pay off for when one is actually post op and no longer has this feeling of "being in the wrong body."
I would like to hear some input on this.
The most important sex organ is the brain. Aside from the dysphoric feelings getting in your way, you can definitely learn about yourself through self love pre-op. Sometimes feelings change or intensify post op, though.
For me, not having the right parts also means that I can´t quite discover what I would like if I had the right parts. But I did try to approximate the situation (like I bought a prosthetic and played around with that). I guess imagination can take you a long way, but not all the way.
I´m on a similar path in the sense that I think sex can lead to a deeper understanding of who you are, but I personally believe that in order to experience this, you need to first regard your genitals as truly yours. Some people can do this and others can´t until they get SRS.
