So I've had two visits to the clinic, signed off on informed consent and had a full blood panel done - including progesterone but not including E and T. I've got my third appointment in a couple weeks.
In your experience, did they test E and T prior to writing the script for HRT (Estrace and Spiro in my case) or wait until you've been on it to assess your levels? I ask because I'd really like to get my script on this visit but if she orders another set of labs, it'll mean another visit. I guess I'm being impatient, huh?
Thanks -
My hormone levels first got measured and then when the doctor got the results, he prescribed the estrogen and anti-androgen. First, the estrogen, followed by the anti-androgen, several weeks later.
The clinic that I went to wanted both T & E tests along with several others prior to prescribing. Although I didn't realize it, the lab report that I took was incomplete and didn't have the E test results. I got the script anyway.
All the best,

Mine wanted the E & T levels. When I checked my initial lab report on line it was also incomplete. When I downloaded it the E&T were there.
They gave me the prescription the same day they took my blood so the results weren't finished until a couple of days later.
