At work today after coming out to my supervisor about me being MTF Transgender, the music track on the business sound system was Runaway Train by the band Soul Asylum.
Here is the line that keeps replaying in my head:
"runaway train, never goin' back"
If you don't mind listening to music, this is what played the same day on the music system after I came out to my wonderful loving warm supervisor:

Nice song :)
here's another ... "what I am is what I am ..."

I know what I know if you you know what I mean.
( . In my case that is about me knowing I am female. . )

*smiles* Sister fist bump with explosion. :) :icon_chick:
Seriously,
I am currently on a one way runaway train track that leads me to what I have been seeking my whole life but denying.
Soon come, but it is coming sooner now.

Sounds like a good thing ... any worries?
No worries.
Surgery not needed. HRT shrinkage is all I really need. Estrogen is my feeling. I have always pleased my wife in bed with the same good loving that a good woman would provide. In other words, you know what I know, if you know what I mean.
Congratulations Donna. I'm so happy for you.
Here's a Rolling Stones song that really meant a lot to me right after I came out last year:

"Hours are like diamonds. Don't let em' waste."
You Girls Rock!
I love the sisterhood I have found here. Brotherhood, too.
As a newly self recognized Woman, I love and appreciate the bonding with the Transgender FTM brothers as well.
(Ok, Ok, I know I am not yet legally a woman on my driver's license, social security records, and passport. - small details soon to come.) But I am a woman.
My new primary care physician doctor proudly showed to me his rainbow pin he wears on his white doctor coat. He is also proud that the lead (or one of the lead) physician in the local HMO specializing in transgender care is herself a MTF Transgender Woman.
One of my fave songs from childhood. Turned out to be true in a lot of ways as well.

I agree. I love coming to this site. It comforts me. It's like, throw a log on the fire, have a glass of wine, and let's talk. I have learned so much here. *gives all a big hug* ... as TG says, onward we go! :)
