Hi, I have a white yellow thin coating on my vaginal canal opening. My doctor told me to use soap and water to clean the outside of the vagina, a gauze pad in the shower to clean the clitoris and fingers to clean the vaginal canal. After I shower the vaginal canal has pink where the white yellow tissue was removed but that is perhaps 10% of the area.
Is the white yellow tissue normal? Should I be more persistent when cleaning the vaginal canal? How long is this tissue produced?
Thanks,
Rachel
Normal. Been there done that. As you heal that will go away and become normal flesh instead for that area. Your healing and that is just the sign of that. I still have a little bit of that myself. Don't over do it by forcing it off to soon or you could damage something. Hugs

Thank you.
I had a similar sounding deal when I was growing skin back on my arm. My friend told me that at some point the wound would produce a thin layer like tofu, and a few days later that's exactly what it did.

Thank you.
