I'm a little curious. What age did you ladies start HRT and how old are you now? Sometimes a feel a little sad about starting at 22 then stopping after only a few months then waiting until 26 to start again. Feels like so much wasted time. Any who, what about you?
Not a lady. But I started at 25 HRT and am 27 now.

Ahh apologies! I totally forgot about the Ftm posters here. No rudeness intended. u.u
I should have started at 12 but waited another 32 years. Well at least I'm got two puberty's to enjoy. The second one is much more fun than the first, though.

First attempt at 54, stopped for 3 months and literally had a breakdown so started again a month ago.
Started HRT at 64, ffs, srs and ba at 67. Now, 68, loving life and living in Bangkok
Started at 59, SRS at 61. Living happily now.
Started at age 43 and now 46. Monday 12/12 will be my 3 year anniversary on HRT. Life had been awesome and my transition has been incredibly smooth. Only thing left is bottom surgery which will be sometime next fall.
Started at 26 too, I wait 6 years though after my first atempt to come out :/
Started at 32 now 59
Started at 52 and now am 53

On/off again since 18. Now turning 61.
Still in good health and working. Don't drink or do drugs look/feel like an older 'soccer mom' of 40 8)
I started just before I turned 58 and I am now 59.

Started at 57 now 63. I am unrecognisable from him, never mis gendered and have not had FFS.
Voice box is destroyed from cancer so I can only talk in a husky voice, no one cares and no one makes any comment.
I am extremely confident and outgoing (he wasn't) people seem to like me.
As every day of life is now very dear to me I smile all the time with the joy of living. People respond so nicely to a woman who is happy and smiling!
Live your life and be happy!

I am 62 now, and I'll be starting HRT next month, still at 62.
I'd have started at 12 if I had the option. Once I did have the option, I'd tell myself that male puberty had already done it's damage and it was too late.
I finally started HRT early this year, when I was 38. I'm 39 now and I'm so glad I did--it was life saving.
I started at age 50 and am 54 now.
Full dose, full time, I was 53. Since my early 20's a mostly off a few months (tops) on relationship with low dose
I started at age 62, now age 63. If I had known then what I know now, I would have started at age 32.
36 and now I'm 39. So a little over 2 years on HRT. Hugs
Mariah
I started 21 months ago at age 53 and I am now 55. I had FFS and breast augmentation at the 6th month mark last August and GCS at the 18th month mark this August.
Started when I was 35. I'm now 36.
Not started yet. Turning 40 next month.
FTM. Just starting out (on waiting list for GIC. No hrt.). 38.

Tried to socially transition and failed in early 20s. Started HRT at 36, now 37. Top surgery at 36. Holding off on bottom surgery, hope the techniques improve.

I feel the same about bottom surgery. I'd rather use all those thousands of dollars on ffs since I can probably only save up that much once in my lifetime.
Start at 66, now I'm 18. ;)

Clara I love that!
I turned 40 just a week before finally telling my wife who I was inside. Waiting for the appointment for HRT to start.
Started at 28 with top surgery first (relatively) quickly followed by HRT. I'm 29 now.
I'm 27 and started hrt about 4 months ago. Tried to transition at 22 but it didn't work out.
I just turned 59 this past November. I am not yet on HRT. Hopefully soon. I had been out of work, and even homeless for a year.
Just starting out at 43, but pretty happy about that, if I had started any younger I would not have my amazing daughter.

Wowee, thanks for that comment! Made me so happy! :D
Me, I'm 31 now, on HRT for a little over one year and SRS is coming up in 8 months. No other surgeries, but the laser is done and I pass 24/7. Boobs keep growing nicely :)
I started at 53, now I am 54 and been on HRT for six months. Just started facial hair removal by laser. Sometimes I wish I could have started at 12 or 18, but I lived as a man long enough to meet and marry my wonderful wife, and she is still by my side through all of this and I am eternally thankful for that.
Began hormones 10 months prior to surgery, age 58, surgery was at 59 and now 60. At this point in time I feel fortunate to have transitioned even though it would had been great to have done so before puberty but that's life :)
I think it's wonderful how the younger generation can start early on.
Currently 29 and awaiting first appointment with GIC.
Really hope to be out and full time by my 30th birthday. Birthday seems like a good time to actually come alive. :)
Aged 43. Started hrt at 43. :D
Started at age 25, and am now 50. It has been a long road, but well worth it.
Started at age 44, now 48, feel a lot better now, dysphoria wise :)
I've been on HRT about a month and I'm 32.
well now i feel super young wanted to start at 16 know at the onset of puberty 10-12ish started a month after 18th birthday now i 18 9-10 months on hrt. :3 meow
I turn 64 tomorrow. I started on this past June 20. The difference has been amazing. I've been fighting depression since I was a teenager and it's just been gone since July. "Is this what normal people feel like?"
I started at 24, now I'm 26. I'm genderqueer, the strongest push for me to transition was not wanting to grow up as a man (being a 20something androgynous guy was ok for me, but I was very afraid of the future: 30s, 40s before I transitioned).
I'm soon planning to have FFS.

Yeah, I totally get that. I thought it was some sort of weird drug-induced euphoria. I told my therapist what I was feeling this, and was surprised as I didn't see this listed as a side effect.
"No, it's not a side effect. You're feeling normal."
That was an eye-opener, as I hadn't felt like that since childhood. I honestly thought that everyone felt as badly as I did, and I was just worse at coping with what I thought was 'normal'.

Same here, except as a girl and not genderqueer. Being a 20 something androgynous guy was ok but 30 isn't that far away and there is no way I can survive into my 30s as a dude.
30s. I just started.
Although I'm not treated like someone in their 30s as I look younger. I spent a lot of time trying to prove myself but getting nowhere. It's not until now I appreciate the advantage of having some time and experience under your belt that nobody suspects you have, lol. That attitude towards me may or may not change with transition. Either way, I know I'll land on my feet, I always do.
I'm 23. I haven't started HRT yet, because I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want for myself, and I just moved in October to start a new job, and so I need to find doctors and whatnot (which is a bit intimidating in my overwhelmingly conservative state).
