So I have the laser intensity turned all of the way up. Sometimes I feel an intense prickling sensation, but many times I feel nothing. When I feel nothing does that mean it's not detecting the hair in that spot? I'm lasering immediately after shaving, should I maybe wait a day so that it partially grows back? My hair has always grown fairly slow. So far I've only done a little on my feet, around the nipples, and the treasure trail. I figured I would avoid the face until I know how my skin reacts.
Hi,
I'm using Tria Beauty. It hurts even on the lowest setting when used on face. Anywhere else, it usually doesn't. I just feel a warm sensation. Have been using it for a couple months and seeing less growth already, so yaaay for me! It also sometimes hurts when doing armpits, I think it depends on how clean I shave before. So in the end- if you feel warmth, it probably works ☺
My Laser tech said it hurts because the hairs are getting zapped and the longer the hair the more heat it attracts and hence more heat = more pain. I can't vouch for the science but that seemed logical as it is exactly what I experience. In fact the last treatment I had there were a couple of longer hears I had missed which got zapped and shivered but those were also the spots to give me the most pain.
As far ass Tria goes I know nothing
