One of the most complex decisions I took with my recent FFS was what to do about my nose. It wasn't a huge conker, but it was definitely too wide at the base for a convincing female and it downturned slightly at the base. The actual nose shape though was straight and not out of proportion with my face.
At my first consultation with Dr Sutin he offered the two alternatives, but I was clear from the outset that I would prefer not to have full rhinoplasty unless absolutely necessary. This was based on a LOT of research, including some of the frankly horror stories of post-operative issues with full nose jobs.
So at my second consultation I laid out ten A4 colour photos of some celebrities in front of Dr Sutin to show him what I wanted. Poor man!!! But he took it totally in his stride. I said I wanted a slight upturn and narrowing of my nose tip (think Binky from Made in Chelsea or Jane Seymour in Live and Let Die ;D). I also asked him for a very slight alar-plasty because I didn't want the upturn to generate a Miss Piggy flare at the base. Hence why he also performed a small narrowing at the same time as the upturn.
It's only two weeks and my nose is still tender but I consider the result to be absolutely stunning. Dr Sutin has displayed craftsmanship of the highest order. I will be posting before and after photos when everything has settled down but my partner is also blown away by what Dr Sutin has done. As an added bonus the tip-plasty has given me a slight upper lip lift :) Bear in mind that these photos are just two weeks post surgery and I'm wearing no makeup, nor have I done any editing except to blur out the background in the profile pic so you can see the nose upturn (and lip lift!). Also please bear in mind that my nose is still swollen and tender.

Full rhinoplasty is very tough surgery. I think there's a HUGE amount to be said for considering tip-pasty and / or alar-pasty as alternatives. This has some scientific backing too: http://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamafacialplasticsurgery/fullarticle/407186

It's much less invasive. The nose need only be bandaged for a week and there's very little after-effect on breathing or sinuses.

Wow. That's nice. I am constantly impressed with how such small changes, a millimeter here, two there, make such a radical difference in how we interpret gender from appearance. Your nose and other facial work looks great.
