Title: Hair help!!!!
Post by: Kadence1 on December 21, 2016, 09:11:19 PM
What do I do with my hair?!?!! I'm growing it out and it's at that stage where it's too short to do anything girly, and too long to style it! So it's the same thing everyday.... straightened. I'm constantly wearing beanies because I literally do. Not. Know. What. To. Do with it :( any style suggestions?? I'll post a pic of what it currently looks like. I plan on getting extensions, but that won't be for a while (atleast 4 months.)

Kadence - Wow - what you have is VERY CUTE.  I love it.  Seriously, don't change a thing.

My guess is when you look at yourself in the mirror you don't see a really cute girl - That's all I see.  I can't picture you as anything else.  Keep it!

im sorry to say.. at least thats what happened in my case, youd just have to bear with it for a few months til it grows out... your hair looks great at the moment... it has a feminine style.. when it grows out, it will look fine... if the issue is that its too long to leave it as it is and too short to tie, a hair band will work wonders...

You can use a curling iron to make it a little wavy and add some volume and style it kinda like a pixie cut

Rag curls!  You could pull off a super cute vintage Marilyn look. My hair is pretty much the same as yours right now, and I just roll it up in rag curlers at night and brush it out in the morning for a bombshell look.  I think it'd look great on you!

AHHHHHH!!! That's such a good idea!!!!!!!! Definitely trying that here soon!! Thank you! I just get sick of always wearing it flat or putting a beanie on. Some days I just wanna switch it up and try something new (;

I was thinking that but wasn't sure if I could do it with hair this "short"!! I asked for a curling wand set for xmas, so we'll see what happens (;

Curling irons will work on fairly short hair. Once upon a time I started with a page boy (I don't think its a style you want) and I was curling hair shorter than yours. The important thing will be to get the right diameter iron for the job you need to do. I remember them being three diameters. Big for soft curls, medium for regular curls and small for pin curls.

I really miss my hair extensions Y.Y
I'm not sure what length you require for the extensions you're after but for synth dreads anything above 2 inches was pretty much fair game. It all depended on the skill level of the hairdresser. (Thankfully, I have a VERY SKILLED cousin XP.)

Super jealous of what you have right now though. Trade? jk
