Title: Lipstick removal?
Post by: Denise on December 27, 2016, 10:36:06 AM
Okay - a new next step for me - Lipstick.  I'm not really a fan, but I want to try.  Based upon another post I have titled "Lipstick" I believe I like the look of Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor.  Not sure what color, but that's another topic.  My concern is - I will need to get it off.

How?

Unless it's a "long-lasting" color or stain, just wipe it off.
Or if you have enough time, just kiss someone enjoyable until it's gone.  ;)

Makeup wipes will take off any residual stain from dark/bright colors.

Soap and water on a washcloth.  Moisturizer lotion works too.

+1 for kissing lipstick away.  Works every time.

Like all good makeup suggestions use primer first to help seal your cracked lips so the lipstick does not seep into them. Making it easier to come off. Mineral oil or Petroleum Jelly work well. If it still refuses to come off try a little alcohol but make sure to use the oil or jelly afterwards. If that does not work get some more alcohol and drink it?  :-)

My favorite is Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.
It will gently remove even the most lasting and waterproof mascara, brow pencil, lip dye or lipstick. I love it.
The makeup I like to use is the stuff that will not ever rinse off when I go surfing. However the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover takes everything off without a fuss.
