I watched Swiss Army Man a couple of months ago. (Definitely worth checking out, fun and unique). I quite enjoyed it and watched it at face value.
A couple days ago I came across a video on YouTube created by Bobby Burns, a movie critic. He proposed in this video that Swiss Army Man is actually about a trans woman who is having trouble with self acceptance and self love.
While I can see this perspective I am still undecided. Will need to rewatch it.
