Just curious that there is such a diverse view by transgender people on embracing the fact that they are trans .I personally find it exciting to be trans. I'm like the experimental mouse when I go to my therapist. She tells me I'm who only transgender and I feel like wow I can teach her things. I know I'm strange
I have seen the trans condition described using words such as "complex" and "misunderstood." I'd say it is. There is still a lot that both science and society has to learn. Someone being transsexual is a state that is often viewed as taboo, coupled with being often misunderstood and complex, and whose causes we cannot exactly pinpoint is a recipe for a situation that can leave a lot open to interpretation.
Trans experiences in general seem very diverse. Whether it's pre- transition experience, during or post. People who are 'similar' to me in terms of experience are still a world away in other ways. Everyone's just unique even if they share the condition
Because we're human...
Because it is in and of itself a broad stoke term.
