Hello, I'm Susan/Steven (still figuring this stuff out). I was assigned female at birth, but I've since decided that the female gender doesn't fit me. I'm not sure if I'm non-binary, male, or a little bit of both. I remember first contemplating this possibility in middle school, but since I grew up in a very conservative community I ignored and mostly forgot about that particular thought for a LONG time. It took me until around Summer 2015 to start thinking about it again, and in Summer of 2016 I definitively decided that I was trans.
My hometown is Cincinnati, Ohio, but I currently attend Kent State University (I'm a freshman majoring in Spanish Translation so that I can become a TRANSlator *rimshot*). I'm 18 years old (turning 19 this May-- now that's a scary thought!).
I'm out on tumblr, but outside of that sphere I've only come out to a few close friends and my aunt. I'm pre-everything (and still legally female), and while I eventually hope to get top surgery I'm not sure about hormone therapy because A) I want to do voice acting at some point in the future so the thought of having my voice radically altered scares me, B) I'm not ready to come out to my parents, which would be unavoidable if I started taking hormones, and C) Change Is Scary You Guys.
Other things about me: I'm autistic (raking in those Double Marginalization Points what what), I'm a Protestant Christian (though obviously a more liberal one than the Christians I grew up with), my favorite band is They Might Be Giants, my favorite movie is Back To The Future, my favorite TV shows are Steven Universe and The Simpsons (watch that answer change in 2-3 years LOL), I love Heathers: The Musical, and I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
