I'm two months into HRT and things are developing nicely. Nothing is noticeable when in guy mode. My hair, IMO, is a mess. Too long for a guy and not long enough to style yet. Pierced ears with very small black starter studs.
For the last two night I've gone to the local gym. I typically ride the stationary bike for 30 minutes then do some stretching. While there I wear biking shorts, baggy shirt, and a non-feminine head band to keep the sweat from running. The bikes are on the balcony and they overlook the treadmills, weights and floor area used for stretching. I like the arrangement because that's 30 minutes of people watching.
Monday night two really cute 18ish girls were there stretching and doing light weights. Nice view 😋
Tuesday they walked in, one of them saw me up on the bike laughed a little, said something to her friend, who looked up at me then back to her friend and they both burst out laughing.
Real subtle... NOT!
I finished cycling and headed down to stretch out and a little yoga. They were still there and right next to me.
What would you do? Say something, say nothing, run away...?
I did the "right" thing and ignored it. But what fun I could have had. I had the opportunity to educate, condemn, scold....

I'm afraid if I went out in public, I would be lecturing everyone because I believe acceptance comes before passing.
Teenage girls? Ignore them. At that age kids tend to be too self-involved when in groups to pay any attention to what some 'old person' they don't know might say to them. At most you'd be providing them a few more giggles as they will better remember and talk about you later.
The laughter of their peers is more important to them than the commentary of elders.
