Title: HELP!!
Post by: BrandiCondello on January 14, 2017, 09:24:19 AM
Hey everyone I need some opinions and knowledge base. I have recently been having very bad anxiety and panic attacks so my Doctor had me do my routine blood work and we just got it back. I am transitioning MTF and on my blood work my estradiol was 647 pg! my Doctor has not gotten in touch with me yet but it made me freak out due to the number and i ripped my patches off and am now sitting here stressing. Is that to high of a number??? My last test I had it was in the 80's! Thanks so much to any and all help given :)

Higher than normal but I don't think it's dangerous. Women have much higher levels during pregnancy.

I expect my levels are similar, or even higher, from the implants I get.

If you're using more than two patches why not try one? I'm not a doctor of course.

It will depend on when your blood was tested in relationship to you patch cycle. If you were tested a day after you put your patches on, you levels will be higher than if you were tested just before the patch was to be replaced. With tablets, it's possible for level to be higher than that and drop to menopause levels within 24 hours.

When I used to use patches I'd always overlap the replacement time to minimise the highs and lows.
