Post by: stephaniec on January 16, 2017, 10:46:56 PM
I don't use eye shadow because I'm on a limited budget , but I'm thinking of trying it.

The same principles apply to makeup as to clothing and hair color, if the color is already in your complexion/eye/hair it will look natural on you. Find your 'seasonal color', and your makeup will look great..

I use powder eye shadow in rose pinks, lavenders, and soft cocoa/raspberry, blended from light to dark from the inside of me eyes outward..

A $4 3-color compact from Cover Girl will last me about 3 months, less in summer when I wear it almost everyday, longer in winter when I only wear it when I dress up and go out. In summer I am outside amongst the boys at the beach and stuff, so yeah, I try to keep up appearances more, lol..

I love Almay Intense I-COLOR eye shadow and they even give you a color guide based on your eye color as that is what you want to do plus hair color can also play a factor.

The shades are all there and easy to use, plus it's hypoallergenic

I also like their makeup remover wipes and I buy them both at Target.

I personally use MAC eyeshadow the color is Sable, then blend it with some lighter browns, I think I am using Revlon now, cannot remember.  The only makeup I wear is on my eyes, it makes all the difference in the world.  I was fortunate to have learned how to apply makeup back in high school in drama class.  I am pretty sure the girl I took to prom taught me how to do my makeup.  Funny thing is, we are still good friends today.

I really like using Maybelline Tatoo Metallic eye shadow especially Inked in pink and barely branded and

They have 10 colours where I have all of them to mix and match according to my colour clothes and make up (Colour  Me beautiful) swatch.

I'm in love with Urban Decay [emoji7] I usually gravitate to a more natural, makeup free look (despite wearing makeup), and I'm a big fan of their Naked palette

Same.  UD Naked all the way.  I go for the no makeup look everyday for work.

Mine is Makeup Revolution London. They do fab dupes of all the top brands, but at really really cheap prices. THey are super pigmented and not cheap in quality at all. See Shannon Shortcake tutorials for excellent reviews :)
