This is not what you think...My question is can you receive vaginal sex after a meta? I know some doctors want a patient to have had or do a vaginectomy before or during a meta surgery but for those who don't, can you still be penetrated with meta? I'm not entirely sure how the whole surgery works so I don't really know the placement of everything afterwards.
Most surgeons will allow you to opt out of a vaginectomy with meta. Doing so would increase the risk of complications with urethral lengthening, but you would still be able to have penetrative sex. I have heard some guys say the opening downstairs is smaller than before though. I am not sure what exactly causes that and admittedly have not looked into it since it's not something of importance to me.
If you're not including the urethral lengthening, most doctors don't have a problem with leaving the vagina intact. A lot of the vaginal tightening is due to parts taken for the creation of the scrotum, which is also not necessary unless you want it. I'm told it's not an uncommon choice for non-binary IFABs who want to preserve the ability to be penetrated.
Awesome! thats very reassuring!

I've been looking a lot into meta just recently. I've finally found a UK meta fb group to join to give me info; maybe there's a similar fb group where you are?
From my understanding the way they do the urethral lengthening and redirect the tubing; it affects the size of the v hole. Although not quite sure why that is.
I've asked on the group would that affect sex and people responding saying you'd have to dilate; but no more information either than that.
Might find this useful. Skip to pg17 for meta
