i started hrt 5 days ago and i can clearly tell my breasts are starting to form up and feel a tiny bit bigger then they used to before hrt. now i know people say it takes months to start seeing changes but both now and back in 2013 when i was on hrt for half a year i noticed changes again about a week after starting to take hrt. is this even possible? and if so how rare is it to have effects showing up this soon?
yea, same here, fast reactions to very low doses of everything, changes increasingly rapid now that I upped the dosages, pretty sure it's genetic, trying to get that checked out, feels like I really was a woman, and finally getting the right fuel :)
I don't think the feeling is uncommon. I think when talking about it taking 6 months, it is till others could see the difference. For some it only take 3-6 months.
I do know it took me about a month before I felt my breast buds start to form. It was a very specific day. I knew something was different. However, I was mostly checking out the smoothing and softening of my skin.
Others will have different thoughts. This is what can relay given my experience and what I have read of others here. You know what they say. Your mileage may vary.
Warmly,
Joanna
I don't know how rare it is, but I definitely had breast buds and visible growth (and some tenderness) by day 5, and I was on a pretty low dose. I think bodies just react differently - and faster doesn't necessarily mean bigger in the end. ;)
Breast pain and sensitivity was one of the first things I noticed. I had to start wearing sports bras after a month to protect my sensitive chest. I have hard knots behind both nipples at 5 months now and I definitely have a handful of breast tissue now.
Mental aspects are almost immediate, breast development began around month two and has slowed down somewhat since about 4 1/2 months in. My nipples burned for at least an hour a day, for two - three months. I have just increased dose so we will see where it goes from here.
