If I had to pick just one item of female clothing to be allowed to live with it would be a silky/satin chemise/slip. Comfortable and ever so girlish to wear to sleep.
What would yours be and why?
I love the softest, clingy and most revealing items in my wardrobe. I don't always wear those same items out in public but so enjoy my new shape and curves that exposure can validate. More for my own gratification than public display but all good fun and part of accepting myself.
My jeans. Srsly!
It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.
André Gide, Autumn Leaves
It would have to be panties. ;D
For me it is dresses, feminine dresses but I need the body so they fit right.
I love dresses and skirt outfits..I can wear jeans anytime.
I like a bodystocking, soft and silky all over...
My boots with a skirt or skinny jeans.
Skinny jeans! With my black Ecco boots and a nice turtleneck. Maybe a denim fitted jacket. But... skinny jeans! :D

I can rock those jeans Michelle! Lol
A one piece swimsuithat. Not sure why.
I have this pair of shorty cowboy booties, with the side buckle. It's just the perfect shoe for me.
Erin
Funny, I don't have JUST one! Having said that, I LOVE shoes. Since coming out to my wife last summer, I now have at least a dozen pairs of shoes from heels, to boots, to booties and just got a couple pairs of flats yesterday....so, yeah, my shoes...LOL ;D
I cant have too many shoes Paula! I hear you Girl!
I think it's my bras because when I'm wearing one, I have an almost B cup without any form or padding. I guess I'm fortunate enough to have enough breast tissue to actually have a bustline - and it looks nice with a properly fitting sweater. For the record, I started wearing a bra full-time last November.
Bikini swimsuits and short shorts. I'm a beach girl!
My jeggings. Most definitely!
I would have to say boots and jeggings. But you said one, so, umm, boots. But I frequently wear boots out now, so jeggings, if don't have to give up the boots. Love boots. I do understand why so many women have so many shoes.
My bra!
I use breast pumps every day, and I need the boob support, plus nipple pads to keep me from being sore and to catch any drips.
I love, love. love my corset. It feels like a sustained hug. Sometimes though it can feel like a impudent child and doesn't mind.
Shoes!I am a shoeaholic and my mom says I have more than her
hard to narrow to just one! But it would be between shorts and a short denim skirt
Panties because they are so smooth and sensual, a bra because the confidence it instills, panty hose because of the slimming effect it has on my legs, and dresses because of the patterns and feel of walking in it, and heels because so sexy. Would like to experiment with skirts, skorts, blouses, and other garments.
Nice long neutral color skirt, with a sleeveless shirt (or tank) and an unbuttoned overshirt/jacket and of course some necessary underclothes
My favourite item of female clothing has to be these heels I got from H&M

But favourite thing so far I have gotten as a female, is my coccinelle handbag also in the pic.
Isn't it the best thing being able to actually buy nice things that we actually want?
As a guy I would buy no clothes, literally wher them until they were rags, or hand me downs from the bin bags :')
Thank God those days are over
It's hard to say, I just find male clothes terribly boring in general and just love the style of female clothing, the choice etc. I guess if I had to pick one it would be tops? I'm always browsing clothes shops online although it just make you get a bit down if you're not out like me.
That wrap over dress that I ummed about and went back for, with a camisole nice undies and stockings, and than stretch jeans and booties with 2 ins heels as it corrects my posture.
My breastforms! I feel so naked without them sometimes even depressed. Everything else I can go a day or so without but whenever I look down and don't see those lovely lady lumps or feel the weight of them on my chest I get sad. Always have felt I was missing a part of me and breasts are it. I was cursed with this thing between my legs and lack of feminine mammaries :(
With that being said i would have to say as an actual clothing item would have to be a bra because if Im wearing a bra or sports bra that means my "girls" are with me. <3
So hard to pick a favorite - likely my leather moto jacket. But the boots i am wearing today would be really close too.
My breast pumps.
I am quite titty, and wobbly and I really feel so feminine.

I am the same way. Wearing guy clothes that are years old sometimes but my female wardrobe is fabulous!
On another note...
You are everything I could only wish to be as a woman! You are gorgeous in every way and my new role model <3
Love those heels babe! And that purse is to die for!
Much love darling :)

Please tell me your secrets to such divine beauty! Your make-up, physique, style, taste... Its flawless! I have been on my journey now for about 8 years and am no where near your accomplishments! Granted I just set up my first consultation with the Philadelphia trans health clinic to hopefully get started on HRT!

I cannot send personal messages yet as I just started here at Susan's (one of many LGBTQ message forums I have now) so I have to reply in a comment but....
I have been working on feminization for 8 years. Doing yoga, hiking, moisturizing, taking herbal supplements, workout routines designed for women, eating lots of plant estrogen. Pretty much everything other than HRT and avoiding things that make me "manly" (ugh). I have a 7 year old son that is the main reason I have put off HRT and starting my true transition but I have realized I was a woman trapped in this despicable male form since my early high school years. Unfortunately I have a high paying job that is not accepting of women like us and Im so scared to lose it because it is my means of providing for my son who is my world. I fear that even though I can hide boobs and still do my job properly that there will just be some sort of repercussion. For being so young in your transition you already have great features! My biggest problem is i have never been good at my makeup and never had anyone help me with it. Im from Dallas and there aren't a whole lot of women like us down there for support groups. There are a few but far between. (Texas is NOT a trans-friendly state as we currently have lawmakers opposing even our simple bathroom bill) how old are you?

Ah sorry, I forgot about the not being able to PM thing.
I used to do the plant estrogen thing :') still kind of do too.
Ah being stuck in Job that you can't leave because you have to provide must be tough.
Life will get tough for me as I will probably have to come out in my very physical type job. I don't know will I be accepted, and the weaker i get I really am beginning to feel the strain.
You are in a tougher situation as you have to think of your son.
I hope it works out in the end, whatever happens with work.
I was relatively lucky I guess, even before HRT, I definitely wasn't the most manly shape that's for sure. But HRT is definitely working wonders too.
You should watch YouTube videos for make up.
I keep it most of the time really simple and have got on rather well with makeup so far :)
It sounds desolate of our kind alright, lol I have never met a Trans person yet in my life.
I will be 27 in May.
And I started my HRT last year at 26 :)
It took me a long time to finally gather the courage

Ugh I know so annoying! How long do i have to wait before I can be a regular member and make my profile? I can't find any FAQs about the requirements. Do I have to donate to become a full member?
Im only 26 myself and will be 27 in July so hopefully Im not too far behind you girlfriend! Thankfully I want born with a manly frame either. Never have weighed more than 140, not muscular, about 5'7, narrow shoulders, slim, small package downstairs, hardly any body hair, and have already been diagnosed with low-T (makes our transition easier thankfully), what really sucks though is I have a deep voice and can't have long natural hair because of work :(
Plus I have a bad scar around my eye from a rollover accident a few years ago that just cannot be hidden by pounds of makeup.
I have met multiple trans women and been to numerous drag shows even got to participate in one here in Philadelphia for a batchlorette party because I was called out on stage from the crowd lol some I have met have been very rude to me but most are lovely beautiful souls! They way I see it is we are all in this together so we have to be each others shoulder to lean/cry/laugh on. What part of the country are you from? Ive noticed the northeastern states are way more accepting than down south at home and can't attest to California but I hear its good for us out there too.

I'm not sure, i think it might be after 15 or 20 posts you can access these things.
And not you will gain full access after a number of posts :)
I was hairless too, lol but yea I am tall, i don't worry too much about it, I'm 5'11 :S
I judging by my features expected low T, but it was apparently perfectly normal.
Could you really not get away with growing your hair.
I had to cut mine once cause of work :@ I will never do that again.
Hmm, scars can be annoying, I have one too on my eye, but it's not too bad.
You could look in with a dermatologist, see what they think of the chances of reducing it are?
Haha it's funny, just because people are trans does not mean they are immune to not being nice people.
It's just a small part of us, and after that we are just people too lol
Oh, and yes, I am living in Switzerland. But I am from Ireland lol. But I am half and half lol
Wow you are tall! But have great long legs and a short torso so you pull it off well!
Unfortunately I was growing my hair out but a homeowner complained to my boss and said i looked like "an unprofessional hippie kid" and my boss told me I needed to maintain a short clean cut. Which is fine because I shave almost everyday anyways but still sucks since I work for a huge insurance company and am sent all over the USA to do work and alot of people aren't accepting here at all if a transwoman showed up to inspect their million dollar home.
I have inquired about trying to lighten the scar but its very prominent and only about 4MM from my eye itself so they said they wouldn't be able to do any laser work and it could be dangerous to use those creams so close to my eye. Im just thankful I didn't lose my eye in the accident and the doctors were surprised I didnt because the impact shattered my ocular cavity and almost sent bone fragments into my eye. Literally millimeters away.
Most people like us are very friendly to others like us, I know I am and am so giddy when I get to meet another TG/CD/ITS etc. Some people just aren't people persons regardless of who they are.
OMG I would LOVE to see Switzerland! My heritage is predominantly Scottish and would love to see Scotland and well all of Europe really!

It's difficult for me to pick just one piece of clothing, but if pushed, it would have to be panties.

Kind of curious to know where you got those jeans from now, been browsing online stores and being 6ft is limiting me to the tall sections of Next H&M etc.
J2J, these jeans are actually from H&M... Lol and I am 5'11"
I would have to say a pink, lacy bra. Lacy panties would be a close second
I like that I can wear guys clothes and nobody thinks anything about it. It's sort of a double standard but I feel we have one up on them for that.
Enjoy the double standard.
My fav would have to be panties as I have been a fan for over 30 years. Decorative bras would come in second. I have no need for the support of "real" bras but like the look of a lacy bralette.
I'd have to say my favorite item item is pantyhose. I know a lot of girls don't care for them but pantyhose was my first and still my favorite.
My favourite item so far is my girl jeans from Marks and Spencers. Bought it online as locally they only had the smallest sizes.
Skirt, pencil, just above the knee (but paired with the right stockings, shoes, blouse, and belt)—so can I just choose an outfit? Nancy
A bodycon dress! Its the perfect garment for the human body!
Clearly a bra!
I have just come from the shower, and going downstairs, I got a heavy jolt. I didn't realise I was that heavy.
Must we pick just one? ;) I will need to think about narrowing this down!
You know, sometimes it is actually the color coordination and materials that make fashion pleasant. Plus, although some ladies look great with what they are wearing, on me, well, no way should I wear that - although I admire those womens' fashion sense and appearance when it works well for them. I could say the same thing about hairstyles.
Chrissy
For me, just a simple dress or skirt.
For me it'a pantyhose. I just love the feeling of pulling them on freshly shaven legs.

I agree...I think in "outfits," not "pieces of clothing." To me, the OP's question is kind of like asking, "What is your favorite food ingredient?" It's not the ingredients that matter, it's how they come together to become something awesome.
My favorite is super simple: at some point in time I ended up with a sports bra of all things. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive. But it's the absolute best fitting bra I've ever had, and it feels like I'm being hugged around the chest whenever I wear it. I've actually worn it once or twice while in male mode, just because I love the thing.
Pantyhose and panties, with bra and cleavage creator a close second.
The sensation, both physical and psychological, gained from wearing stockings and panties under my day to day male clothing can not be overstated. The sensation is both sensual and comforting. On the days I'm not wearing my lovelies I feel oddly undressed. Wearing a bra and a cleavage enhancer while out and about is also very exciting, and although it sounds silly I always think of it as adding a hint of danger as, unlike panties, while wearing the bra and enhancer there is always the odd chance someone will notice and be attracted or repulsed each attractive in its own way.
I keep thinking about this. My favorite is probably a Calvin Klein one piece jumper, with black drape-cut legs and a simple sleeveless white top with a gold metal strip at the throat.

Hello Yanira, There is only one choice for me, that is girls knickers. It has to be girls cotton knickers, in white or pink. They feel so lovely when I wear them. I also love ladies frilly lace ones as well.
love, Helenmarie
I'd say bras. Cause without those I'd look flat and I'd rather have the looks of boobs on my chest in an all masculine outfit than look flat in an all feminine outfit.
Without a doubt Bustiers' - I adore them and they feel so good.
Matching that with a cute little pair of undies and yes...love that. I have always adored lingerie' way more than day to day cloths - its just my "thing" I guess. I also wanted to say I LOVE your profile picture...I am new and haven't figured out how to upload one yet and I get a restricted message when I try to click on pictures or profiles and also some threads. Yeah you are very pretty
Shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes......
And I do like a little black dress, when it fits right. With a nice pair of shoes.
My new Christmas bra:

Great outfits though are like great orchestral ensembles. They work well together.

I saw that bra online Valerie Anne and absolutely loved it.
I couldn't wait until Christmas, I am wearing mine now!
The dark red colour is amazing and the support for the smaller bust is fantastic. It's so girlie!
My answer is probably way vanilla, but the jeans.
My Nightie,
It's boring, not sexy, but it's a long nightdress and basically I'm just a girl getting into bed.
I love wearing my blouses over pants or jeans.
Sometimes a sweater on top. So feminine!
Chrissy
I have to update my choice from jeans to my sports bra.
My first thought was leggings while around the house, but then I love putting a bra on. I think it helps me keep warm, although there is no colder moment than taking it off at night. So, I will go with my new dress. Love, love, love it. An A-line wth mixed speckles of white, black, and purple. It is the first time I ever felt attractive. :-*
Love my leggings, wedges and sealess tank.
Just bought a bright floral satin PJ top from VS! ;D

Ooooooo. Lucky girl!
Chrissy
With just starting to cross dress it has to be pantyhose. I would wear them back when I never thought about cross dressing. Panties and stockings are great to, but it all started with pantyhose.
Geez, that is a difficult one to say..so many!
I think that, knee high boots came first, followed by hosiery, followed by skirts...and then there are leather pants/leggings.
Leather just adds a whole degree style or class or whatever you may want to call it to anything which is feminine.
Now I can not decide which is a favourite, maybe just feminine clothing in all aspects.....is.
High heels, nylons and panties. If I have to only choose one item it has to be the high heels.
Panties as I can wear them all the time and dresses this is my new Christmas dress waiting for me when I get home from the Christmas road trip

My favorites seem to change regularly, but at the moment it's a little 16" dark brown flared mini skirt. It's got some pleats so looks a bit like a mini kilt. I just feel sexy in it and I like to think it really highlights my legs :-)
I have just joined and this is actually a bit scary for me posting on this site as I have been putting on womens clothes since I was 10 and no one has ever known I crossdress. This is the first time I have reached out to others to talk about my dressing up. Here goes.
For me pantyhose or a sheer pair of stockings are my favourite. There is no other feeling like the nylon on your legs to make me feel feminine. There is nothing in male clothing that feels anything like it. I sometimes go to work with either stockings or pantyhose under my pants.
For me it is shoes, shoes, and more shoes! I have 35 pair of men shoes, some of which are unisex, and I can continue to use them. Now I have to get at least 35 pairs of female shoes!

Never shaved and shave my legs. Never had a pantyhose. What makes it feel different?
I love blouse/skirt combinations, especially mid-calf with silky nylons. My go-to outfit when heading out dressed up
I think that complete outfits are my fav but I do like blouses or shirts, layered somehow with a t-shirt or sweater is nice at times.
Winter scarves and caps are nice too.
Chrissy
Overwhelming it has to be leggings, own several pair wear them 24 hours a day
For me I would have to say a bra or a bra and panty set. That's the most comfortable items for me to be in. Makes me feel at home sort of speak.
My standard, canned answer to this question would always be a skirt. I've worn them daily for the last six years. I wear a tie to work and always come home and immediately change into one. I have two for yard work and three for house wear. Sadly, I have not ventured out as dressed.
I say this is always my most comfortable, but today I took delivery of a long sleeve nightgown type sleep shirt in my size made from bamboo viscous and rayon. It's omg comfortable. Yesterday I gave myself a full body IPL and my skin is sooo smooth that this thing feels wonderful. From longevity, I will say my skirts, but this new nightgown is wonderful.

Having had a pretty large chunk of bio chemistry in college, I do not understand why people feel that rayon made from bamboo is any different than rayon made from espen wood.
Both get ground into a wood pulp, and than treated with so many different chemicals to achieve a fiber that can be spun and woven, that one would a hard time during an analysis to find out what the original wood was!

The skin gets more sensitive.. the hair that used to insulate it from touch a little is gone, and often some dead skin cells as well. The little friction of shaving draws blood to the skin, heightening sensitivity too, like if someone softly strokes your face.. it feels better and better... the soft silky caress of the hose ..ooh...

I wonder, if I would have the same experience on my legs? I have no hair growth on any part of my body (just that little baby type of hair on arms and legs), except, in my genital region (not that much there either) and on my head.
I might have to forgo this sensation forever, because my skin is used to be touched by anything. Never though about the fact that anything clothing wise could created a physical sensation for me.
For now it's lingerie. Since SRS I am finally to actually enjoy wearing it without worrying about staying tucked.
my fav is my bras and panties, when I get to wear them. truth is all female clothes are best

What is your band width, because I easily fill a 32 C, but have a 40 A?
