Title: Has anyone gone to Dr Barry Eppley?
Post by: Ypsf09 on February 06, 2017, 12:12:01 AM
Has anyone tried Dr Barry Eppley for Forehead surgery and/or Rib removal?

I am contemplating getting following procedures but scared due to mixed reviews online :

1. Forehead brow bone burring and mid/upper forehead augmentation with bone paste. i already have had type 3 reconstruction. but i want my flat forehead to be round and curved 3 dimensionally.

2. top of head and back of head augmentation with implants.

3. Rib 10, 11, 12 removal. Maybe 9 too.

Also does anyone know anyother surgeons that do rib removal ? I have heard of Dr AArone stone but think Dr Eppleys technique is more effective.

Thanks in advance.

I went to him in June 2014 for Butt Implants, Liposuction to my abdomen and removal of my lower 3 ribs both front and back. I am satisfied with the results.

Thanks Danielle for the response and also congratulAtions on achieving those tough goals successfully and smoothly.

My waist is already between 23 to 24 inches depending on the time of the year. My goal was to acheive 21 or 22 without looking bony in the abdomen and to increase the distance between upper hipbone and ribcage. Do you think rib removal would be beneficial for me or should I just get a tummy tuck.

What difference did you observer from rib removal?

Thanks

I have been to him, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was able to fix a badly botched "forehead reconstruction" I had done years ago. It involved major bone grafting and the removal of inflamed bone filler, and nobody else was willing to touch it. Not only did Dr. Eppley fix the functional problem, he also went back and re-did my orbital rims and the rest of my forehead contouring as the first surgeon had basically done almost nothing and I still had WAY too much bone. While my result will never be perfect due to the original botched procedure, it's now as good as it's going to get and I am very, very pleased. I wish I had gone to Dr. Eppley for the first procedure. He does a lot of major craniofacial surgery on people with severe deformities or who've been in accidents, so I think the usual FFS procedures are pretty easy for him. He also has both medical AND dental degrees. I thought of going to him for my breast implants, but he's back in Indiana and I now live on the West Coast, so it would be a lot of effort. Having said that, if I ever had more facial work done I would definitely make the trip to see him.
