Hello! First time poster here. I am a cis male and my spouse is mtf. I have a quick question regarding genitals. The other night during intercourse she said about six months into her transition she was masturbating one night and had two very painful pops in her genitals. At the time she hadnt masturbated for over a month. She is now three and a half years on hrt and what I didnt know is ever since then she said her penis is shorter and wider, like the blood gets trapped behind the head. I am now worried that there is/has been a problem and am worried for her health. When aroused her member gets very swollen and wide compared to what she said it used to be, except the head which is very small. Anyone have any advice or had a similar experience?
Hi and welcome to the site.
I think that question will need to be addressed to a doctor. Is it uncomfortable for your partner? Has your spouse looked into this with a doctor? I don't think most of us are qualified to advice on this. Sorry.
I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment to:

Hey Mike,
Just want to say thanks for caring so much about your spouse and her health. Sounds like a visit to a urologist might be the best place for definitive answers if she also agrees there is a problem worth pursuing. Having been on HRT for years my penis/shenis responds differently than before and that is reasonably expected and part of the consent form risks most of us once signed.
Good luck to both of you :D
(Shenis lol) As an mtf and a med student, yea that doesn't sound good, have her see a doctor
Thank you all for the quick replies! She said it doesnt cause her discomfort but it becomes sore after we have sex sometimes and it takes a long time to go down, and if we have repeated sex over the course of anfew days it becomes very sore, like a sharp but mild pain aling the entire length. I am trying to convince her to see a specialist but that always proves to be challenging lol...
