Title: Shark week symptoms gotten worse?
Post by: kings joker on February 11, 2017, 11:22:52 PM
So I've had shark week twice now, both have been very different then pre-T. However, the thing that is getting me is that I feel like the PMSing has gotten WAY worse. I am now the walking stereotype of PMS. I am super depressed, low self-esteem, angry, short-fused, jealous, and just generally erratic. This is not how shark week has been in the past for me. I sometimes feel some of these things not very intensely but the last two times have been unacceptably emotional.

Has anyone else had this problem or some part of shark week gotten WORSE since starting T?

Maybe your doctor could help with something to control it.

I have no shark weeks... not since T and not for years before that due to weird body functions and Norithisterone.

But, many people report T taking a long time to get rid of shark week, or the symptoms/pain being unexpectedly worse etc. if it's bad I think you can get shots or implants to deal with that.

It took about 3 months for shark week to totally go away for me. It was late, short, and less painful each time until it stopped altogether. Ask your doctor about Depo Provera shots. That's what my doctor recommends for guys who are having issues with theirs on T.

It not stopping and slowing down isn't the issue. The issue is that I literally am an emotional mess during it. That is something that doesn't usually happen. I was wondering if anyone else had such dramatic emotional shifts after starting T? I mean my body is literally at odds with its self right? Hopped up on T yet still producing E.

It stopping would solve your issue though, presumably.

I have not experienced any kind of mood swings on T. My mood actually stabilized a lot, even early on while I was still coping with shark week. The only issue I had early on due to my E levels still being high was hot flashes while everything sorted itself out.

Depo-provera will fix your problem. Was on it for years before T and haven't had an issue since I started T.

Yeah, if this crazy mood swing thing continues then I'll certainly have to do something about it. I don't think I can take another week like this past one.

What is depo-provera exactly?
