Hey everyone my name is Ev. I was diagnosed with dysphoria by a therapist two years ago, now I'm 23. I haven't transitioned for my fear of becoming a "monster" in the eyes of others. I want to but I've always lifted weights and have a big build. I'm 5 9 and have a 32 inch waist, so I'm not worried about my lower half or height. Does anyone have tips for getting over my fear and doing the best I can to take away attention from shoulders? I measured and it seems like they are around 19 inches. I'm 184 with low body fat. Maybe I'll attach a pic so you guys can see what I'm starting with.
Hi Ev,
Welcome. I'm sure others will be along shortly to provide you with more help than I can. I just would like to mention that if you do decide on HRT, one of the side effects is loss of muscle mass. It could be you are worrying over nothing.
Hugs,
Jeanette

Welcome to Susan's Place. I also have big shoulders and the fashion no no is wearing tight fitting sleeveless outfits. Lose fitting tops with sleeves will cover a multitude of issues and my shoulders have never given me away. All women have clothing they don't wear because it doesn't work for their body type. They learn what worked and what didn't in their teens (hopefully) and avoid purchasing anything that doesn't work for them.
Hey Ev from down under!
I'm a stocky big girl myself and big can definitely be beautiful. My shoulder edges are softer now whilst on HRT but with a low scoop and keeping your tops darker than your pants and you should be spotless. Welcome!!
