Title: Most effective way to take Spiro?
Post by: Squirebuffy1990 on February 21, 2017, 12:00:57 PM
My friend told me that Spiro leaves your system after 10 hours (not sure how true this?) and that you should take it every 10 hours to totally cut your T off as much as possible.

On the box it just says each morning. But why morning?

How do you ladies take yours?

I take mine twice a day per the Dr's instructions.

Morning so you are not up all night peeing.  My doc said to take it in the morning, but that if I wanted to split the dose, I should take the second dose no later than supper time.

As it is, if I don't drink lots of water, including in the evening, my mouth will be like old shoe leather in the morning.  So I'm up a couple of times a night to pee anyway.

My original dose was all in the evening.  I complained about peeing at night so he told me to split AM and PM.

Since then I have cut the dose in half.  My T level is higher than I want (mid 20's) but that's okay for now.

My testosterone is at 38 and I am post surgical. The mid 20's is great.
