Hi Everyone! My name is Janet Michelle. I'm a married, 53 yr old MTF person. I feel I'm more than a crossdresser, but what that is, I'm not sure. Recently contacted an experienced gender therapist to sort some things out. Excited but scared of what I may learn. That make sense? Looking forward to learning some of the thoughts and ideas from the forums.
Welcome to Susan's Place. For some of us the decision is clear early on. For others it's far more difficult and it takes a while to figure it out. The site has people in all stages of discovery and they are more than willing to help how ever they can. If there is anything I can help with, just let me know.

Hi Janet,
I'm Jeanette. I wanted to welcome you to Susan's place also. Come right on in, grab a seat, put your feet up and get comfortable. Here you will find helpful friendly people like yourself. I'm one of those having been a life long crossdresser and recently started HRT because I wanted more than just clothes. I'm 64 so a little older buy we have all ages here.
Read the posts, ask your own questions, chime in of the ones that strike your fancy. But make Susan's Place you place too.
Hugs,
Jeanette
Hi Janet! Excited but scared? Yes, I get it. It's lessening, but I used to have frequent doubts about being trans too. I know if I am, then I have an exciting path ahead of me--I could live full-time as a woman one day! But scared? Yes, I don't want my friends to leave me and I don't want my family to be afraid of me. I haven't gotten to gender therapy yet, but you are, so good for you! Get your answers! :icon_woowoo:
Welcome to Susan's!
Welcome! Take your time to sort everything out. Know that we are all here every step of the way.
Thanks for all the welcomes, input, and advice!
