Hi everyone, let's have a First Post Party!!!
Okay, done.
I've been doing research online, and I've seen some people saying that that Spiro ages the skin? These were mostly either women who were taking it for whatever reason, or people taking it for acne,, but I've not seen posts by <transgender persons> saying it aged them. Does it affect biological women's faces different to biological men?
I've always drank an ocean each day, so I won't dehydrate, I moisturize too.

Maybe because of dehydration...dry skin, not good. :(

I guess, none of the complainers seemed like the sharpest bulb in the ocean!
My skin got better looking.

My skin did get drier particularly in oily spots but it got better on HRT. People always compliment me on my skin.
Koroside, welcome to the site.
That's an interesting first post. I had a reduction in skin oil and a bit more dryness as a result of the effect of spironolactone in reducing testosterone. In an AFAB (Assigned Female At Birth) body I would expect very little effect as testosterone levels are already quite low.

Welcome to Susan's Place. While I have never been on Spiro, I am post surgical and unfortunately I found that the lack of T or E in your system will cause you to lose facial fat and look older. Fortunately going back on E is undoing the damage but the process is slow. Without knowing the what they were using for estrogen, it's difficult to determine why they were seeing what they claim.
As an old dinosaur I have to say if anything being on spiro or any AA had a positive affect on my skin. Some of the reports of wrinkling may be from loss of muscle mass (remember your entire body is covered in lots of muscles and a little loss can go a long way) as well as dehydration. Slight wrinkles say on my hands and arms I can see come and go throughout the day if I don't keep up on my fluidating.
