Title: Unsubscribe from threads
Post by: KathyLauren on February 27, 2017, 02:49:57 PM
Is it possible to unsubscribe from threads I have posted to, so they don't show up under 'Show new replies to your posts'?  Sometimes I have read all I need to read in a thread and said all I want to say, and it just clutters up that list.

You have clicked the notify button on the menu at the top of the post? Checked your notification settings in your profile?

If you have tried this let me know

I'm sure there is a way, I just don't know what it is. I usually end up opening threads I want to read in a different tab (holding ctrl and clicking), then from the remaining list of unread replies, clicking mark all as read. They'll still pop up every time someone comments though.

Profile<Account Settings><Modify Profile><Notifications> Adjust as desired and save.

There is a ignore topic options page but I'll be darned if I can figure out hot to add a topic to the ignore list.

It is at Profile<Account Settings><Modify Profile><ignore topic options>

It doesn't appear to be working.

Thanks, all.  I don't get notifications and don't want to, so Jeanette's response is the closest to what I am looking for.  It looks like you can't get there from here.

In your  account settings there is a spot of threads and forums your subscribed too. You can at anytime uncheck and remove items from the list that you receive updates on. Hugs

You don't really subscribe to them, you just post and you can't change that. New replies to threads you wrote in will always appear in "New replies to your posts" and you can't prevent the forum from including them in the listing. Maybe by deleting your posts from said thread? (not a "solution" obviously :))

That is not true. You can stop them from being listed in "Show New replies to your posts" by clicking the "unnotify" button when looking at the thread.

It will not stop them from being listed in the "Show unread posts since last visit" though. and it does not unsubscribe you from the thread so you will no longer see it at all. Which is what she would like.

That's what I am looking for.  I don't see any 'unnotify' button, though.

Kathy,
When you bring up the thread yo want to stop go to the top of it. There are many buttons REPLY BOOKMARK NEW TOPIC ETC  one will be the unnotify button or if you have already used it it will say notify. ( it toggles )

Hope it is what you want.

  Hugs,
