Title: Hair

Does T affect the consistency of your hair?

Not body hair, I know it definitely affects that, but what about the hair on your head. I have fine thin hairs and wonder if it might get thicker or more coarse or something. It actually feels softer since I started HRT.

Ive read estrogen effects texture of hair on the scalp, I see no reason why Testosterone wouldnt have any effect. (Ive yet to read confirmation on this but Ive noticed changes in the texture of my hair, the speed it grows, how shiny it is. Etc)

I've posted this before but it's still pertinent to the topic.

Yes.

I had stick-straight hair all my life. So straight, in fact, that my friends were convinced I 'straightened' it artificially.
My hair is now curly and full of volume, almost like a white dude fro. It has also slightly thickened in texture and it no longer gets oily right away (I suspect because curly hair takes longer to appear oily). For reference, I've been on T for 1 year and 4 months.

Mine seems to have more body to it now and is less frizzy.
