Title: Erectile devices: experiences
Post by: c1991u on March 04, 2017, 03:45:55 PM
Hello, I'm nearly 7months post RFF Phalloplasty with Dr Mang Chen in California. I'm interested in hearing experiences (healing experiences, complication experiences, pros experienced and negatives) of having gotten an erectile device (whether semi rigid or pump). I'd also love to hear from anyone who has gotten any of the Zephyr implants available in a few regions outside of the US. I have talked numerous times with my surgeon but that is not the same as hearing first hand from folks who have gotten surgery. In our last chat, Chen said if it was him, he would try all of the external (non-surgerical options) first before taking on risks associated with the two erectile devices he is able to implant into patients. He told me he expects things to get better in the next 5-10years.
Thanks for any feedback!

I had my surgery with Dr Rados Djinovic in Belgrade Serbia. I have the pump. I am pleased with the pump because it is ready when ever I want it to be. It is easy to operate and functions well.

I'm still pre-op but if it helps the reconstructive urologist on my surgery team does phallo for cis men too. He says 9/10 cis guys go for the pump because it mimics a real erection.
