Nearing 9 months post op, and the very stark whiteness (pearly white, looks unhealthy) of the clitoris has not faded at all since the very beginning of recovery. It's also painful to touch, even lightly, as painful as a deep, open cut. It's so "sensitive" sometimes that if things rub the wrong way down there while I'm going about my day I get a lovely jolt of stabbing pain. The level of "sensitivity" has also not changed since about 2 months post op.
My local nurse (a specialist in grs aftercare) outright said she has no idea what to say or suggest for either the pain or discolouration, and I know the nurses at my surgeon's office are just going to unsympathetically retort with "it hasn't been a full year" like they do every single time.
Has anyone heard of or had a stark white clitoris post op? Was it also painful? How was it resolved?
I don't have a clue what's going on but I would probably take a good picture of the problem and email it to the doctors office for evaluation. It possible to have a little swelling but discolored tissue may not be a good thing.
