Title: Question for guys who have had a Hysto
Post by: MattFlo on March 13, 2017, 09:53:37 PM
This might be TMI but I rather ask other guys than go onto a cis female forum. I am 2 years post op (5 yrs on T) and for the last two months I have been noticing a pressure/discomfort/pain all the way by the vaginal cuff. The pain mostly lingers after a orgasm/inner contractions. I made an appointment with my doctor but I dread those kind of exams so was wondering if anyone has/had this issue?

I hope this doesn't make you uncomfortable but do you engage in penetrative sex? If so, possibly the tissue is being irritated? Did you ever receive a silver nitrate treatment to the site? It cauterizes the area which can help with healing. Something is irritating the tissue. If it's not from I inserting an object to anything perhaps it is a reaction to something you're consuming. Have you tried searching cis lady forums without posting?

Nothing penetrative going on. I never received silver nitrate after my hysto. I browsed the cis woman forums and mostly found these issues soon after surgery not years later like me and most were also after penetration.

Maybe you have a fungus infection?

Fungus is not always itchy.

I have done a hysto, I'm 7 years post op. I've had no feelings of pain or pressure.

I've had pain/itch after penetration. I believe it was because I was too dry.

No signs of a fungus. No symptoms.

I too am post op & have been for years. I do recall though for about 2-3 years after getting a complete hysterectomy & oopherectomy I had similar pains in the same areas that you are describing. They only occurred after orgasm though. NEVER me being penetrated (ok that repulses me just to say) always me doing the penetrating. I have not had any type of pains since.

Because T causes muscles to increase in size, if you are on that it might make it seem worse as those muscles left behind in that area might be contracting more strongly than they did before.
