Title: Oh I love the looks, not
Post by: Larisa on March 17, 2017, 09:24:44 AM
Ive started having the looks from some people, strangers but I can tell what they are thinking. My long hair now a few inches below has got a few people looking. I ignore it. It doesnt matter if I just comb it once or really make it look pretty, still a few will look. It's even worse for me due to my more female sides such as my shoulders, hands and arms that are more female like than male. If they want to look, they can but I know they are uncomfortable by me. I think they are just being silly.

The fact is they need to worry about themselves instead of me. They dont even know if Im a girl or not, they just assume Im a freak. Im glad it's just a few people that look. I will never stop being me regardless.

Yeah it's not really something to pay much attention to, I see shocked expressions when I turn around a lot, probably not expecting the beard :p

I've had long hair most of my life, even when I was in denial.

You don't know what they are thinking really. There are a lot of guys with long hair too, from metalheads to hippies to surfers to pro wrestlers to hillbillies to bikers.

I presented myself as a metalhead guy back then usually, sometimes more long haired surfer look in the summertime. I used to see myself as a hippie born a few decades too late. Funny that the people that dislike hippies and metalheads are basically the same people that dislike trans people.

Around here any male that has long hair also has a beard.  I have long hair without a beard and still more or less present as male at work.  Nobody has ever said anything mean or even given me a dirty look.  I have even been complimented on my hair.  Just smile and be nice and people will be nice in return.

I realize I may be looking into how people appear a bit to much. I however know that where I live, many people would insist I dress like a guy, act like a guy and that Im not allowed to be a girl at all. They wont say it ofcourse. It just seems it's happened since I have expressed parts of me in a female way.
