Title: I'm sure you all can relate...
Post by: Veda on March 17, 2017, 08:50:56 PM
OMG, Nipples Much?

Mine are rather ouchie.

I told my wife and she said "GOOD."

Of course she breast fed our children, so I give her the benefit of the doubt....

:)

I hope so!

Sometimes I worry about it, could you imagine...

I get to try some sort of new medication, but wait...

My boobs won't stop growing!!!!

Doubtful, but, not in the realm of impossibility.

Hee-hee.  Yes, I can totally relate.

Get yourself a sports bra.  It really helps keep them more comfortable with less irritation.  It also helps keep you from poking someone's eye out with them.  :D  I find that my high beams are on almost all the time, so the bra does help to control them under my male disguise.

Soooo Funny.  My wife said the same thing.  Just hope yours doesn't do what mine does.  She actively tries to play with my nipples.  Some days it's not so bad, but most days it downright hurts.  She tells me it is to make up for 14 years of payback, which I'm sure I deserve, as I tended to bite hers.  Needless to say, I don't do that anymore.  I'm also happy to have boobs now, as little as they are, but I have no idea how big they will get, my family averages B cup.

Have to agree although Im only a little over three months in. Tender with nubs starting and the raisins are reaching to the sky. I wear a sport bra when working or doing activities as I sometimes press up against something. I certanly am more aware of the little girls. All I can say, Awesome.

HA, OMG, not only are they apostrophies, they are exclamations, like an ahem, if diamonds had a language, than these would be if superman had a good grip.

I'm not sure what you should be paying attention to.

If someone is telling you something, and you are worried about it,

I think it is one of the ways of understanding.

Hi Veda,

Yes, I can see your wife saying "good!" Women have forever wished men had to go through some of the umm "growing pains" that all women go through.  This is just one of them not usually talked about. Through you, she probably feels vindicated in a small way. Hope she doesn't choose to enhance your sensations. It could be quite painful. But then, it could also become quite enjoyable too.
Lately mine have been down right painful in the mornings. This morning for example I woke laying on my back and all was well, However when I rolled over on my side .. Hello Ouch! It took several minutes  clutching my body pillow to my chest for it to almost go away.  Now there are back to the normal "I want you to know we are here" feeling and just a little sore when pressed.

BTW I'm rooting for your wife to continue to help you experience female life. LOL

  Hugs,
    Jeanette

Five weeks on HRT and my nipples are puffy, and hurt almost constantly. My wife snickers whenever she "Accidentally" bumps into them.

I almost feel left out. My nipples have not gotten puffy, in fact until recently they were just flat areola  with the nipples pointing the way. Now that I have small boobs the areolas have filled in a bit but are not puffy nor have they gotten larger. That hasn't stopped them from being sore.

I've followed this thread until I can't stand it anymore without replying. :)

I do feel left out. I'm a week or so ahead of you, Jeanette. My nipples/areola are not puffy, not sore and not experiencing much change at all. Likewise for the rest of me. Yes, my levels are about right, or maybe a little high. And, yes, I have patience.  <sighs>  As we say, YMMV.

All the best,

Awww Ashley, I'm sorry.  :(  That dang YMMV can stink can't it. I was surprised mine have grown as much as they have in this relatively short time. But yes I like it. sorry. I'm not trying to rub it in.
You have talked to your doctor no doubt? And they tell you to be patient?  Have you tried throwing a tantrun? Stomping your foot while hollering that you want more, you want boobs!? Didn't help did it. I swear doctors just don't listen. My doctor told me I had needed to be patient too when I tried to suggest an increase in dose or adding progesterone. Yes, I did that and it didn't work either :-(
I hope you not only bud soon but Blossom!

  Hugs,
    Jeanette

The following line got in a quote of a comment I made. It appears as if it was something I said. It was not from me.

"Sorry, I think you should be able to explain your boobieness, go ahead, say you are sorry."

I've had to alter how I sleep due to the painful nipples.  I'm hoping it goes away at one point because I love sleep on by belly.

Late poster to this topic!

My nipples/areola started hurting a few weeks into HRT (on a low dose) back in December 2016 and are still tender to the touch/pressure now (having increased dose).  There hasn't been a point where the tenderness has disipated.  When my daughters hug me I have to flinch at the chest as it gets a bit painful.  Sleeping on my stomach, or even side but slightly frontal, is not comfortable and takes a little while to settle down.

I hear this tenderness is a sign of growth, so by that rationale, my breasts are contantly growing which is very pleasing  :)  If that is true, then long may the tenderness prevail as I can deal with it if it means good sized breast/nipple development  :)

Yep, sore and constantly erect nipples, the edges of my areolas are less defined and they seem to be expanding.  I sleep on my side so that's not been a major issue.  I think the worst was the shower.  We have a pretty high-pressure shower head and when that stream hits right on one of the headlights, it definitely wakes me up.

Personally, I love that pain because it's a sign that things are indeed progressing. Can't wait until my appointment a week from today.  Expecting my doctor to double me E dosage so hopefully that'll really spur some growth.

Hang in there, all a part of the wonder that is the trans experience  ;)

Personally, if I sense growth and pain, I wouldn't want to change anything. Why fix if it ain't broke? I would want to take advantage of the fact that my body is sensitive and is reacting to lower doses as long as possible. Being in a hurry to increase and increase is not necessarily wise. Just something to think about but see what the doctor says...
