Finally got some good news last week after weeks of struggling with my doctors and discussing my treatment with a different doctor at my GIC clinic, I have finally been put on the waiting list for Sex Reassignment Surgery.
Bonus I have paid for my breast enlargement surgery and will be done on this Wednesday.
I have been so happy dancing and singing to the point of which my wife got annoyed the other day, its like a huge pressure is lifting off my shoulders. I can't wait I'm so excited.
I'm so nervous and excited about my breast surgery this Wednesday, but I know it will be worth the pain which across the pain will pass in time. :icon_chick:
Congrats Christine!!!! All will be well :)... Onward you go brave sister!!!
Ashley :)
Bless you Christine.
I just had my upper arms tightened up a bit. I was way overweight and lost 120 pounds. Yes, all surgeries are a bit uncomfortable at first. One week later you will feel much better and one month later you will be better than new. Healing takes time.
May I ask, who are you scheduled with for SRS?
Lucky! I really want the surgery, but I don't have the money or the credit to finance it.
Congrats Christine! Just started that aspect of my journey and am now working on my second letter. I have had several sisters who have had BA and they all said it was a lot less of a deal than they thought it would be.
Again, congrats!

I'm scheduled for Mr Phil Thomas in Brighton, they allowed me to choose and I like what I heard about him.
As you said it will pass in time and scars will heal but the end result is, I'll be much more comfortable with my body. The support I'm receiving from people around me is good. Even my hairdresser is being supportive and gave me some good advice for my breast operation.

I hope their right, some of the story's people have told me have been mixed messages.
I feel safe with my surgeon as he took his time with me during the consultation.
I did shop around and before choosing and felt this surgeon really took a long time and answered my questions and most of all treated me with respect, unlike other surgeons I saw who I swear see you as walking cash.
Hoping all goes well the big day.
Woot woot! That a girl <3
