Hey everyone!
I'm new on the forum and I live in the US. I will be having my surgery during May at the PAI in Thailand. So excited!
I have a question. I have found a place that will give me a Travelers check for the amount that I need for surgery, but I was thinking a different option - Visa prepaid debit travel cards - would be easier to acquire and use.
To me it seems like the travelers check has a locked in amount to cash, whereas the cards (Three $5,000 cards) could be used by PAI until the total has been met and still have a little left on one for use during my travel.
Does PAI accept this form of payment , and does it sound like a better plan then a travelers check ? I am waiting on a reply from my PAI contact about it, but I thought maybe I would pick your thoughts too. Thanks!
Hi Gamergirl
Welcome and I hope you enjoy your time here at Susan's.
Sorry don't have the answer to that question but I am sure someone will be along shortly who can actually answer it.
Please take some time to have a read of our links below

Thanks Elizabeth, for the welcome and links.
I like your Tao Te Ching quote.
You might contact them directly and ask. Also, you might check whether Visa charges international transaction fees (usually it's like 3%)
