How was your recovery after each stage? Did you need a lot of help or were you able to care for yourself once you left the hospital?
Recovery for both stages was within the expected timelines. Maybe a little set back on the first stage because of the hematoma. In the beginning I was feeling like I had 50 pounds of dick hanging. I had a lot of swelling and walking was not comfortable at all. I live alone. I was lucky to have a friend take me to her place for the first week. Made it a whole lot easier. The worst part for me was the catheter. It was between my legs under my new sack and was just rubbing me raw and leaking.
I had prepared for both stages. I made meals for about a week and froze it. Made sure it was healthy stuff. Lots of vegetables and proteins. So when grub time came all I had to do was nuke it. I also bought disposable party type plates and minimized dishes.
Stage 2 was uneventful. 3 weeks with a pee bag and 37 staples to take out. And a whole lot of adjusting to hit the bowl lol.
I barely took anything stronger than Tylenol for pain in both stages
That's about it

Super helpful man thanks. I'm 4 stages starting with essentially a meta so I'm hoping that makes the recovery even easier. How was your energy level?
Energy level was ok. I guess. lol. It's not like you are gonna go for a hike for a coupla hours but it's fine for the daily normal stuff. Eat. Fart. Drive to work. Work. Whine a tad. Eat. Whine some more and omfg this dick is like an eggplant... Til it's not anymore. <Language edited by moderator>
I never wondered why this had to be done. I stuffed socks in my undies since I was 5.
A year later. My energy level is where t should be. I work out. I x cross country ski. Snowshoe. And now I stare at my bike wondering how many km I'm ma put on it before i get my implants
4 stages huh? I'm not familiar with such a procedure. When are you scheduled?
ALT which is usually at least one more stage than RFF but my surgeon prefers 4 to reduce the risk of UL complications. Stage 1 is July. Starting with basically a meta first. Just trying to gauge how much help I'll need. I really don't like relying on people to take care of me.
