Hi, I am just curious as to how many of you wear breast forms. I started my transition late in life and have been in transition for ten years now and only have an A cup. I do have a pair of C cup breast forms but have not worn them yet and not sure if I really need or want to.
I wore C cup breast forms for a few years, my GIC held back starting me on HRT for like 8 years and it helped having those feminine lumps under my clothes.. Stopped wearing them as soon as I got my own growth cause they became too uncomfortable for my budding little breasts!
Now I'm pretty happy with my little natural ones, and while I do seriously consider implants I'm quite sure I'll be going for some not very large ones. Full A to B cup is where I want to be, I just wana fill a size nicely.
I wore forms before transition and after for a couple months until my own boobs got up to like A or AA cup. Once that happened, VS Bombshell bras made it so I didn't need forms anymore.
Over the course of 20+ years, I have had many breast forms. Over the last year or two, I realized that the forms only heightened my dysphoria. I am currently filling an AA cup with A on the horizon and I have been happy with even just that.
wearing mine now and sleep in them , its the only way I feel correct body wise (not counting the man tackle ) Still waiting for HRT ,these are for mastectomy patients and are very realistic weight wise as well and they bounce !!
When I was crossdressing before I discovered I was trans I acquired a few sets and wore them while dressing. Like others here once I started growing my own they became unnecessary. Even the tiny real beginnings were better than forms as I knew they were really me.
Hugs,
Jeanette
I bought a set and tried it once and decided it wssnt for me immediately. expensive test

8 years? I would had gone to another GIC. 8 years is like another lifespan.

There is only one GIC in my whole country, and I wasn't strong enough to keep myself going when they kept rejecting me and refusing me treatment.. I did the dumb thing and fled into isolation and alcoholism for years, bad call! Doing a lot better now, and what an incredible positive change starting HRT has been for me. Life is good :) .
I wore socks in a bra for quite awhile before my breasts developed but never bought breast forms, most likely because I didn't know about them back in the day
Having just started HRT, I still wear breast forms. I got a really nice pair from one of those cross-dresser shops (Glamour Boutique I think) and wear them inside a couple mastectomy bras I bought. I love how they look and feel but I'm also really looking forward to the day I can ditch them for my own real body. My forms are a D-cup (38D) and my current "plan" is that if HRT can get me to a C (I know the odds are against me) then I won't need any surgery. I think if I stop at a B, I'll probably get BA to get them a little larger. Of course, only time will tell.
Ok, here's my breast forms story. While crossdressing in private before I came out to my wife, I developed a method using newspaper bags (the narrow plastic sheaths that newspapers are commonly delivered in, in the US anyway). Vegetable bags from the supermarket also work.
Once you find a pair without holes ;) you can fill them with warm water, twist the opening a lot, double or triple fold the twisted part, and rubber band tightly. If you do it right they won't leak. The folded over part can be a "nipple" but it'll probably shift out of position :(
You have to wear a full coverage bra or they'll escape lol.
I still use them.

I had a set of 36C breast forms for a while that I used while dressing as a woman in private before I started HRT. Once I began HRT and developed my own, I stopped using them, and ultimately ended up giving them to someone else that crossdressed to save them some money.
I used to wear them pre-transition. I quit that about the same time I began hormones. I find them annoying, and you can pretty much get the same effect from a fitted bra. Cutlets and a pushup would more than likely get you to a C.

Lol, that's how my wig experiment went...hate them, never again.
As for breast forms, yes I use them. Until I see some substantial natural growth from HRT, the shape gives me confidence.
I used balloons filled with bird seed during the 6 months I lived full time pre-HRT. They were a modest full A cup and suited me quite well. I never went out without them.
Now tho I'm approaching a C cup and thinking about asking my doc for an increase in my estrogen dosage. I want more, more, more!!!!! I love having boobs.
