Title: Rather Odd Occurrence Much?
Post by: V M on April 11, 2017, 01:33:32 AM
I would imagine that most of us have experienced some sort of odd occurrence in our lifetimes, I know I have

This evening I opened up a brand new role of paper towels to notice that there was a black ant smashed into the weave of fibers  :-\  Yeh, I'm going to wipe my mouth with that

What odd occurrences have you experienced? Please remember to post within site rules when posting

Hugs

Does finding half a cockroach in a peanut butter and strawberry preserves sandwich count? Yes, it was after taking a bite.

Hugs,

Things like to magically disappear with me. Like I'll set a bottle of water on the bed, go into the bathroom to wash my hands. Come out 3 minutes later and the bottle is gone. This happened last night for the billionth time. I still haven't found the fart-knocker.

Oh my, now that is a bit odd... and gnarly!!!

Given the age and the cheap construction of the apt. complex I live in, the building will make various sounds depending on where people walk

Well there's one spot and I'm not sure where it is, either the common hallway or someone's apt. but when someone steps there it makes a sound like someone walking down my hallway to my bedroom wearing a pair of cowboy
boots

Clop... Clop... Clop clop clop

It use to kinda freak me out but I've gotten use to it over the years

"Yep, the cowboy ghost has come to get me yet again"

*Rolls over and goes back to sleep*

A really creepy thing that happens on a regular basis is when I'm here in my computer room watching YouTube videos. I'll be watching something on, say creepypastas, for example. And I can't explain why, but just behind me the air will suddenly get freezing cold, an I'll feel a breath on my neck. When I turn around, I'm obviously alone in the room. But as soon as I go back to YouTube, there it is again. I don't know what to make of that one.

Yes but you would get bonus points if you found a half of one.  (Yuck)

Come on Denise, Fork over those bonus points. It says "half a cockroach" already. I made my sandwich and was eating it when I took a bite and it crunched. When I looked I found the half left between the slices. I got rid of the bite I had taken and then some.

  Ewwww,
   Jeanette  :o

One time when I was around 14, I woke up to a weird crawling sensation on my inner thighs. I got up and went to the bathroom, and a HUGE spider fell out of my pants. I screamed so loud that my parents woke up and we spent thirty minutes trying to catch and release it, and then spent the rest of the day joking about how a spider wanted to get in my pants.

I've seen grubs in rice. Whenever I eat rice now I look at it carefully first.

One time at the same sort of age you were I went to get changed out of my school uniform, pulled down my skirt and say a bee on my inner thigh on my tights. No idea how it got there.

Hmm, odd occurrences...

I remember once when I was closing the store I worked at, I had a man that wouldn't come to leave after I made closing announcements. Eventually, I go to check on him. He fell asleep....standing up. Quite the odd and awkward situation to wake him up. :icon_yikes:

I got dive-bombed by an anole that had been chilling on top of the front door. Also, a tree frog that had gotten to the inside garage door somehow. The tree frog thing has happened more than once.

Things like to jump on me, apparently.

My Grandparents were caretakers of a Christian Camp in Saugus California. Known as the stone house. It was a massive stone structure resembling a small castle. One problem. It didn't have a toilet, only an outhouse. The place being in the desert was subject to all kinds of creepy's. Scorpions, spiders, and rattle snakes. There is nothing like opening the door to the outhouse only to find a rattler taking your seat.

Another one!
When I was around 8-9, I decided to give my sister "singing lessons" in the backyard, and when I was holding out a note, I held my arms out beside me and a bird pooped on one of them. Needless to say, I was very offended and didn't sing for a while after that.
