Title: I'm getting scared and I need advice
Post by: JamieLenea on April 13, 2017, 05:25:49 AM
I've been on HRT for just under a year, the 29th of this month it will be one year. And everything was progressing smoothly.
As normal, my breasts grew, my testes shrank, I stopped getting erections without "encouragement".
My breasts had just gotten to the point that I had to loosen my b cup bra to the middle set of hooks.
I was having zero issues with tucking.

Now my breasts aren't filling the cups in my bra completely, I bet I could move back down to the tightest hooks. And I've woken up a few times with a semi-erection. It also takes less "encouragement" for me to get erect. I had a hard time tucking tonight, like I did when I was only a month into HRT.

I've forgotten my pills once or twice, but that shouldn't cause things like this, and it's freaking me out. I have a doctor appointment next month, and I'll talk to her about this when I go in. In the meantime I was kind of hoping someone could give me some advice or something. I'm worried that they messed something up with my medication at the pharmacy, or maybe I'm growing a tolerance to the pills.

Plz help

It might be a good idea to get your hormone levels checked to determine if you need to adjust your doses.

Hooks on the bra bands are not meant to adjust for cup changes. They are intended to be purchased using the set out the furthest and then begin to use the tighter ones as the band loses its elasticity.

Bra cups can begin to lose their shape and act is if your volume has changed. Depending on the brand and how many bras in rotation, most need to be changed out to new ones after three to six months if you are rotating at least least 3. The more in rotation the longer they last but definitely not wearing the same one every day. They need at least a day of rest for the elastic to regain shape.

Did you start a new medication, supplement? Start eating differently? Make lifestyle changes? Are you more stressed these days vs. before?

Exercise and diet will affect breast size too.

I had the same thought as Dana, which hooks you use would be an indication of band size change not your cup size.  Now what's interesting is that if your band size did change, it suggests you lost some fat or possibly muscle in your chest or back.  If you're losing fat in that area it would stand to reason that your breasts would lose fat as well reducing their size.

Are you monitoring your weight?  If you're losing weight that would affect your breasts and then the question would be why are you losing weight if not intentionally.

Are you getting tested in a timely manner.? If so you should be able to track your Hormone levels and make adjustments as directed by your doctor. It does seem as though something may be off, but I'm not a doctor. But I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express.  Dang American commercials.
