Post by: transnztal on April 13, 2017, 08:58:18 AM
Hey I was wondering if anyone does the estrogen pellet implant? I'm post op mtf on pills I think implant would be more convenient for me. Do you know how long till you replace and how many pellets ? My insurance covers the pills so I'm assuming they will cover the implant

I think the answer to that depends on where you live. I can tell you where in Sydney...

I had my first implant a few months ago, it certainly is more convenient. We are still doing regular monitoring, and will replace it when needed, which is likely to be around nine months. We may also adjust the dose a bit at that time as my levels are a bit lower than I'd like.
